About Claudio Gizzi
Claudio Gizzi is a Sicilian artist who studied at CPM in Milan before working as a session musician for several renowned local bands, playing with prodigious musicians like Gaspare Costa (Antonella Ruggiero) and Giuseppe Zito (Irene Fornaciari) and established artists like Ekat Bork, Alex Calò, Federico Bottino. He has worked on well-known productions such as the popular TV format “The Voice” on Costa Cruises, has been dedicated to teaching for some time, his main project is now with wanderlust SoulBand that you can check it out on Instagram “wanderlust_soulband_”
Gear
Claudio has several guitars that he uses as a session musician, including Fender Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul, Fender Telecaster, Fender Jazzmaster, Gretsch semi hollow, and Martin Guitar for the acoustic part.
For his effects system, he mostly relies on digital systems as Tonex and Eventide H9, while about analog amplifiers he use fender end peavey tube amps.
The vocal session includes a TC-Helicon Play Acoustic with a looper and a Sennheiser E945 microphone.
His studio is based on a MAC operating system and Logic as DAW.
Biography
Claudio started studying music theory when he was 12 years old, playing the clarinet and taking an interest in classical music and the functions of various orchestral instruments.
At the age of 15, he started playing his father’s guitar, teaching himself and later delving into the pop/rock style. His passion for guitar and the desire to challenge himself in different environments led him to move to Milan after two years, to attend the CPM school.
